Jonathan P. Ellsworth is Principal and Head of Research at SCGK & Co. He owns the firm's analytical apparatus: the household spending taxonomy, the savings benchmarks, and the clarity-scoring instruments that members use to audit their own finances.
He spent a decade in fixed-income research, building the habit the firm now runs on — distrust any number that cannot show its source. Under his direction, every figure in the firm's curriculum and reports carries a stated basis and a stated margin of error.
He signs off on every benchmark the firm publishes and reviews the case-study program for methodological integrity.
