Question 1

What is financial clarity?

Accepted Answer

Financial clarity is the ability to see, in one place, every recurring financial commitment you have — what it costs, when it renews, and whether it still earns its place. SCGK & Co provides financial clarity and cost optimization services focused on recurring expenses, subscriptions and bills.

Question 2

What is Subscription Cleanup?

Accepted Answer

Subscription Cleanup is a one-time, $99 engagement. SCGK & Co builds an inventory of your recurring subscriptions, classifies them, reviews renewals, identifies duplicates and cancellation candidates, and routes each one through your decision. No action is taken without your authorization.

Question 3

Can SCGK identify recurring expenses?

Accepted Answer

Yes — through structured intake and a review of the information you provide, such as statements or lists you enter. SCGK & Co does not connect to your bank; you control what is shared, and the review structures it into a documented inventory.

Question 4

How does the Financial Clarity Audit work?

Accepted Answer

The audit is a one-time, $49 engagement: structured intake, a recurring-cost review, categorization, preliminary observations, a prioritized list of areas for attention, and a recommended next step. You receive documentation you can act on.

Question 5

How much does SCGK cost?

Accepted Answer

Each engagement is priced once, before work begins: $49 for the Financial Clarity Audit, $99 for Subscription Cleanup, and $199 for the Financial Clarity Concierge. Bill Optimization works on a 25% success fee of verified first-year savings — no verified savings, no fee.

Question 6

Does SCGK guarantee savings?

Accepted Answer

No. Savings depend on each client's circumstances and are not guaranteed. Every engagement distinguishes potential opportunities from verified outcomes, and potential figures are never presented as realized savings.

Question 7

Does SCGK provide investment advice?

Accepted Answer

No. SCGK & Co provides educational and organizational services only — not financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. SCGK & Co is not a bank, broker-dealer, or registered investment adviser.

Question 8

Can businesses use SCGK?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Financial Clarity Concierge ($199, one-time) reviews recurring business expenses — including software subscriptions, vendor contracts, and service-provider costs — alongside household costs.

Question 9

What happens after I start a review?

Accepted Answer

You receive access to the secure client portal. Your engagement is tracked there end to end: the review status, recurring costs, identified opportunities, documents, messages, and tasks. You approve or decline each opportunity, authorized actions are tracked to completion, and outcomes are verified against statements.
