Alexandra R. Whitmore

Founding Principal & Chief Executive

Alexandra R. Whitmore founded SCGK & Co to bring the operational discipline of institutional technology leadership to the household ledger. She spent more than twenty years as a Chief Information Officer at JPMorgan Chase, where large-scale budgets, vendor contracts, and recurring platform costs are reviewed line by line — and where she learned that most waste hides in plain sight, in agreements nobody rereads. She sets the firm's review standards and reads every published report before it ships to members.

Jonathan P. Ellsworth

Principal & Head of Research

Jonathan P. Ellsworth designs the research behind the firm's clarity methodology — the spending-taxonomy, savings benchmarks, and scoring instruments members use to audit their own households. He spent a decade in fixed-income research, where he learned to distrust any number that cannot show its source. He signs off on every benchmark the firm publishes.

Portrait of Dr. Helena M. Voss

Dr. Helena M. Voss

Chief Investment Officer

Dr. Helena M. Voss holds the firm's content to its published standards. A behavioral economist by training, she studies why intelligent households tolerate wasteful recurring charges for years — and designs the program elements that overcome that inertia. Every module, report, and disclosure the firm issues passes her review before release.

Marcus D. Whitfield

Director of Program Design

Marcus D. Whitfield translates the firm's research into the member experience — the case-study curriculum, the guided audits, and the quarterly review cycle. He began his career teaching financial literacy in public schools, where he saw what happens when institutions explain money badly. He tests every program element with real households before it becomes curriculum.
